New Beginnings
- 
	A full-time academic program for pregnant and parenting teens, under age 21, who have not yet reached high school graduation. Prepare for a healthy pregnancy and childbirth. Obtain a high school diploma while implementing a parenting plan for adoption or healthy attachment with your child. Acquire independent living skills and develop a career plan for self-sufficiency. College credits are also available for qualifying students through Career & Technical Education courses.

	HEAD START 
 Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.A Community Action Partnership (CAP) program is designed to work with families with children ages 3 to 5, and encourages parents as their child's first and most important teacher. This is a free, quality preschool experience and also offers health, nutrition, and social services. 
 WIC (Women, Infants, & Children) 
 Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.A nutrition education program is available for women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, postpartum, and to families with infants and children under the age of 5. WIC is a CAP Agency program and is available to Carver and Scott county residents and New Beginnings students. 
 RIVER VALLEY NURSING CENTER 
 Tuesdays, 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
 No Appointment neededServes uninsured and under-insured individuals in Scott and Carver counties. This program connects people to local resources and free or low-cost healthcare services. 
 HELP ME GROW 
 helpmegrowmn.orgA point of contact for anyone with concerns about a young child with developmental delays or risk of delay. An interagency resource specialist is available to provide information and resources to families of young children and the professionals who work with them. 
 MyHealth 
 1st Thursday of each month, 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.Provides confidential and no-fee health and mental care for youth ages 12 to 26 in a safe and non-judgmental environment.

	New Enrollments Welcome Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. A nationally accredited, licensed child care center that serves infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. East Creek Child Care helps children learn and develop by providing opportunities for individualized, concrete, experiential learning to encourage a love-to-learn attitude. Highly trained and experienced staff members use Creative Curriculum® to plan for and support each child's early learning.
