 (952) 903-1350For grades K-12 PrairieCare is a short-term, partial hospital program which addresses the mental health needs of children and adolescents. It includes integrative medicine services and robust outpatient services. Psychiatry, individual therapy, family therapy, psychological assessment and more are offered at this location. PrairieCare works closely with Ridgeview Medical Center, local providers, and school districts.

 Carver County Intake (952) 442-4437For grades 7-12 Anicca is a day treatment program through Carver County Health and Human Services. This program is for adolescents experiencing mental health struggles (or challenges) such as (but not limited to) Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Anxiety Disorder, Depression, or Mood Disorder. Licensed and experienced staff provide mental health services such as individual, group, and family therapy; emotional and social skills training; mindfulness, meditation, and yoga. The program also provides parent support and education. Academic support and instruction as well as parent consultation regarding academics provided by qualified licensed teachers. This is not a dual diagnosis program. Any chemical dependency must be addressed, or has been previously addressed, by outside services. Clients must be able to demonstrate an ability to remain free from physically aggressive behavior. Clients may be living at home or in out-of-home placement. Transportation to the program sites is provided by students’ home school district during the academic year.

 (952) 567-8180For ages 10 to 19 Reflections is a day treatment program which addresses the mental health needs of adolescents and children who require intense therapeutic services. Referrals are made through the Scott County Mental Health Center.

 (612) 232-5428For ages 13 to 17 An emergency shelter and housing program for youth who have been victims of sex trafficking, hosted by The Link Safe Harbor. Passageways is inclusive of all gender identities and can serve parenting youth with one child. It provides a variety of on-site services specific to sexual exploitation that include case management, mental health therapy, education programming, life skills training, a survivor mentor program, health care services, and positive youth development activities.
