    • Develop knowledge about corrections in the U.S. from the origins to the present day and the different philosophies and approaches to responding to criminal behavior in society
    • Learn the difference between jail & prisons and probation & parole as well as historical and contemporary issues and controversies in corrections
    • Explore the careers in the field of corrections
