- 
	- 6th - 8th grade Elevate Middle School students engage with teachers each day.
- Courses operate on synchronous models that best support the student.
- Students enroll in English, Math, Science and Social Studies.
- Health, PhyEd and additional electives are offered based on requirements of the home district.
- 8th grade students are offered world language courses in an asynchronous learning environment.
- Teachers discuss elective options with students during first week of classes.
 
 
Student Expectations
- 
	Students will: - Engage in virtual courses, should participate in class discussions, and respond timely to instructions of the teacher
- Submit work based on due dates
- Expect some homework assignments -- tasks to complete outside of regular classroom hours
 
- 
	- All Middle School students will use Brightspace for homework and to attend live courses.
- 8th grade students will work in Edmentum for asynchronous electives as staff monitors them and provides feedback on work assignments.
 
 
Attendance and Course Completion
- 
	- Students are expected to attend every scheduled school day and teachers will take attendance
- Parents/guardians must report excused absences
- Students must complete course requirements to receive grades, credit, and completion
