About Our Elementary School
- 
	Elevate Online elementary students in kindergarten through 5th grade receive live group instruction from teachers in reading, writing, math and integrated units such as: science; social studies; health. Teachers meet students in small groups to tailor learning based on each child's unique needs. In addition, Elevate Online elementary students enjoy weekly lessons in physical education, music and art. 
 
Live Synchronous Schedule
- 
	The elementary school day is from 8:00 am - 2:45 pm with live classes scheduled throughout the day. Each elementary classroom has their own daily schedule. Teachers will supply schedules after a student is enrolled. 
 
Seesaw
- 
	Kindergarten through 3rd grade use Seesaw for homework, Google Meet and specials. Students log in using their enrollment assigned Gmail.

Student Expectations
- 
	Students will: - Engage daily in virtual courses and participate in class discussions and respond timely to teacher instructions
- Have their cameras on and be in a quiet setting, ready to learn
- Follow meeting rules of teachers
- Submit work based on due dates
- Expect to receive homework assignments -- tasks to complete outside regular class hour
 
Attendance and Course Completion
- 
	- Students are expected to attend just like in-person school
- Parents/guardians must report excused absences
- Absences must be reported by an adult
- Students must complete course requirements to receive grades
